Anna K. Windisch visited this year’s edition of the renowned silent film festival in Pordenone, Italy, from October 6 to 14, 2018. Windisch was a mentor at this year’s Collegium.
Festival highlights included the recently restored Das Alte Gesetz (DE 1923) by Ewald A. Dupont, and Le Joueur d’Échecs (The Chess Player) (FR 1927) by Raymond Bernard, with a reconstruction of the original score by Henri Rabaud.
