The international conference “When the Music Takes Over. Musical Numbers in Film and Television”, organized by the Project and crucial part of it, took place in Salzburg from March 8th to 10th. About 100 presentations and the four keynote lectures by Amy Herzog, Rajinder Dudrah, Claudia Gorbman and Richard Dyer made this conference an inspiring gathering that gave scholars from all over the world the chance to meet and exchange their ideas.
